BrightSide Theatre, Naperville’s professional theatre, in partnership with the Naperville Park District, presents a series of free, summer performances entitled, “Summer in the Parks: The Golden Age of Broadway.” Five talented singers and four live musicians will present music from memorable musicals such as My Fair LadyWest Side Story, Peter Pan, Music Man, and South Pacific in an hour-long revue for each performance.

Performances are scheduled from 7:00-8:00 p.m. on three Wednesdays at the Wagner Family Pavilion, located at the 95th Street Community Plaza, 3109 Cedar Glade Drive and on two Thursdays at the Millennium Carillon Amphitheatre, 443 Aurora Ave. The Wednesday shows will take place June 29, July 13 and July 27. The Thursday dates are  July 28 and August 11.

Please note that the performance originally scheduled for Thursday, June 30 at the Millennium Carillon Amphitheatre has been cancelled, due to a conflict with the setup activities for the Naperville Salute.

“We are happy to bring back Brightside Theatre for a second summer of family-friendly entertainment at two great outdoor locations,” said Program Manager Brittany Malatt.
