A paved trail extends north-south, with a loop around the athletic field and a connection to the pickleball courts. The trail connects with sidewalks on Diehl Road and on North Mill Street and includes 6 fitness stations to add a full body workout to your hike. View or download a trail map here. Amenities

Nike Sports Complex Playground to be Resurfaced in August 2023

On Thursday, June 8, the Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners approved a contract to replace the surface of the playground at Nike Sports Complex later this summer. The playground will be closed temporarily for the project and details will be posted at napervilleparks.org when the schedule is determined.

The playground at Nike Sports Complex was constructed in 2011 with poured-in-place rubberized surfacing. The surface has worn and is in need of replacement at this time. However, the play equipment is not scheduled for replacement until 2026. The Park District plans to install new, poured-in-place or synthetic turf surfacing with the new play equipment, but in the meantime, will replace the worn surface with engineered wood fiber. Engineered wood fiber costs less than rubberized surfacing and can be reused at another playground, whereas poured-in-place surfacing cannot be reused once installed.


Pickleball

Nike Sports Complex has 4 dedicated pickleball courts and there are 8 lit tennis courts lined for pickleball; participants must provide their own nets
