Welcome Back Members! Reopening Information

Fort Hill Fitness Center is excited to announce the reopening of our fitness center and indoor track to members beginning Friday, June 26. When you visit us for the first time in a while, you will see many changes throughout the fitness center and facility as we follow the Phase 4 guidelines of the Governor’s Restore Illinois Plan. As we are opening with a phased approach, the fitness center and indoor track will be the first areas to open on Friday.  Group exercise classes at Fort Hill will be reintroduced starting the week of July 6th.

Fort Hill Fitness will operate at no more than 50% of occupancy at any given time under Phase 4.  The Park District is finalizing a new reservation app that will be used by members to reserve workout times in the future.  Once the app is ready for use we will provide members with instructions.  Until then, Fort Hill staff will monitor fitness center usage and limit access to 50% occupancy at any one time.

Please note that the participation guidelines apply to Naperville Park District fitness programs and use of Fort Hill Fitness during Phase 4 of the Governor’s Restore Illinois Plan.  The Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity Phase 4 Health & Fitness Business Guidelines, in addition to information from public health organizations, was used in the development of the guidelines.  The guidelines were also reviewed by the Edward Hospital and Health Services Infection Control Manager.  Please review and become familiar with the guidelines prior to visiting the facility.
 

Beginning June 26, our hours of operation will be:

Monday-Friday: 5:00 am-8:00 pm

Saturday: 6:00 am-3:00 pm

Sunday: 7:00 am-3:00 pm

*The fitness center will be closed Mon.- Fri. 2:00- 2:30 pm for additional disinfection by Fort Hill staff.


Memberships and Billing

  • Memberships will be restarted on June 26. EFT (Monthly Payments) first billing will occur July 15.This payment will cover July 15-August 14.
  • Members who maintain active memberships for June 26-July 14 will be billed a prorated amount at a later date.  Members will be informed of the prorated billing a minimum of 30 days prior to the charge.
  • Paid in full members will have their memberships extended 3.5 months (March 16 – July 1).
