Fort Hill Activity Center - Coronavirus Updates and Closures

In response to the continuing coronavirus situation and with the intention of helping limit exposure and spread of the virus, effective Tues., March 17 through Sun., April 5, the following additional Naperville Park District facilities will be closed:

-Administration Building at 320 W. Jackson Avenue

-Fort Hill Activity Center at 20 Fort Hill Drive*

-Sportsman’s Park Trapshooting Range at 735 S. West Street

* Fort Hill Activity Center will serve as a polling location on Tues., March 17. The building will be closed to all other activities.

Attention Fort Hill Fitness and Track Members

Due to the closing of the Fort Hill Activity Center, Fort Hill Fitness members will receive a refund for their March payment, which was billed on March 15. The Park District’s customer service staff will work to process refunds, but please allow up to 14 business days for this to be completed. Although Park District offices and facilities will be closed, our staff will be working remotely to complete the refund process. For our track members, please note that your membership will be extended and made available for your use once Fort Hill reopens.

Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses

Please note that both of our golf courses remain open for play. Only prepackaged food and beverage will be for sale. Reference update from Sun., March 15 on this page for additional details regarding our golf course operations.

We understand that these are difficult times for everyone and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Dear Member,

Based on the rapidly evolving situation of coronavirus (COVID-19) and recommendations from public health officials, the Naperville Park District has implemented several measures to encourage social distancing.  Below is information related to the Fort Hill Activity Center operations. 

Please note that the following will be in effect from Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, April 5:

  • Fitness Center will be open to fitness members.  Normal operating hours will continue to be available.  We will not be accepting daily fees or guests during this time.
  • Indoor walk/jog track will be open to track and fitness members. We will not be accepting daily fees or guests during this time.
  • Group Exercise Classes will be cancelled and all group exercise memberships have been placed on hold.
  • Childcare will be closed. All childcare monthly payments have been placed on hold.
  • Indoor Playground will be closed.
  • We will not conduct personal training sessions during this time.
  • Gymnasium will be closed.  There will be no open gym or member use of the gymnasium during this time. Open gym memberships will be extended once we are fully operational again.

Fitness Members:  If you do not plan on using the fitness center or walk/jog track during this time please contact the main service desk at 630-995-8900 to place your membership on hold. Once we are fully operational, on hold memberships will be automatically reinstated.
