NEW Kids’ Summer Art Camp • AGES 5-13 This year’s theme is animals! Paint pictures of various animals on canvas boards and watercolor paper and create your very own Sculpey® clay sculpture. Bring a morning snack, a sack lunch, something to drink and a roll of paper towels. All other supplies are provided. Beginners learn basic chords, scales, strumming patterns and basic music theory to get them playing quickly. Emphasis is on learning chord sequences so you can play a few pop songs by the end of the week. More experienced players strengthen their skills by learning scales, finger and practice exercises, chords, inversions and arpeggios. There is some intense jamming daily! Patient, experienced instructors group kids by age and prior experience at the first class.
