Plastic has made our lives a whole lot easier and helped advance technology, but it's also accumulating in our environment.

Scientists estimate that by 2050 the oceans will contain more plastic than fish!

And recent studies have shown that some plastics actually smell like food to wildlife so they eat it.

What can you do to help?

Follow the 3 R's - Reuse, Reduce & Recycle

ReuseBuy reusable water bottles, travel mugs and straws.

Reduce - Try to reduce the amount of plastic you use. Many plastic items are designed to be used only once, like straws, soft drink and coffee cups, and take out containers.

RecycleChoose plastics than can be recycled - look for the recycling symbol and make sure it's recyclable in your community.

Thanks for being part of the plastic pollution solution!
