Are you looking for a fun, unique and affordable party experience? The Naperville Park District has everything you need to make your child’s birthday special for them easy for you! We offer a variety of themed parties to fit the needs of your child’s imagination. Please click on the theme party descriptions to read about available time and locations.

All party prices include cupcakes from Naperville’s own DeEtta’s Bakery. A giant cookie cake or giant donut cake are both available for an additional $10 (each option feeds 20 people).

You may register at any time; parties must be reserved a minimum of two weeks in advance. Days and times are subject to availability. Please call 630-848-5000 to book your child’s best-ever party experience today!

Let your imagination run wild with LEGO®! Try your hand at building sky scrapers, vehicles, boats, towers, bridges and more! This party includes free play with our huge collection of LEGOs ® and team building challenges that will get you up and moving! Your party guest will enjoy this LEGO® extravaganza with endless creative possibilities. This party includes a special take home LEGO ® gift for each guest. This awesome celebration will end with delicious dessert by DeEttas Bakery. Cupcakes are included with the price of the party. Due to space limitations and to insure a fun and memorable party for the children, parents are welcome to wait in the lobby or parents can pick up their children within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the party.

 

This hands on party takes place at the 95th street professional teaching kitchen. The the little chefs start with decorating their own cloth aprons that they get to bring home.  We then make and play with pizza dough, practicing rolling skills with their hands and rolling pins. We then add all the yummy ingredients and pop them in the oven. While the pizza is cooking, the chefs help make a fruit dip and play fun games. After eating their own personal pizzas, we end the party with cupcake decorating and singing to the birthday guest. The party price includes 15 guests (including the person of honor). You may add up to an additional 3 guests for an additional $50.00. Maximum of 18 guests.

*Please note that this party is not in a nut free facility and we cannot guarantee the products used in this party are nut free as well.

What to expect
Guests will enjoy 60 minutes of dance instruction! You choose the style of dance and we’ll come up with the moves! The last 60 minutes you will enjoy a delicious dessert by DeEtta’s Bakery and any other food/drink you would like to provide.

Hop, skip, run and jump your way to a fantastically fun-filled party. Our hosts will lead children in entertaining and active games that may include an obstacle course, tag games, relay games, hoola hoop fun, tumbler track and more. Let us know if you have certain games you would like to play! We will, of course, leave time at the end of the party to enjoy a delicious dessert provided by DeEttas Bakery. Due to space limitations, we ask that only a minimum number of parents attend the party. In order to ensure a fun and memorable party for the children, a limited number of parents are welcome to stay and watch. Parents must remain on the sidelines of the gym floor, wait in the foyer or parents can pick up their children within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the party.

Does your child love nature and animals? Then choose a nature-themed birthday party at Knoch Knolls Nature Center. Your two-hour party starts with a 90-minute guided program with the remaining 30 minutes reserved for cake and presents. We provide a cupcakes from DeEtta's Bakery, invitations and a themed party favor for each child. Cost is $259(R)/$289(NR) for up to 12 children, including the birthday child.

Online registration is not available. Please call 630-864-3965 to book your child’s nature party! Parties must be reserved a minimum of four weeks in advance. Days and times are subject to availability.

Available Themes:

    • All About Owls, ages 4 - 12 (Year-round)
      Owls are awesome! They live everywhere – in deserts, mountains, wetlands, forests, prairies, and even the arctic tundra. Learn about the owls that live here year round and some that might visit in the winter, touch owl feathers, play owl games, dissect an owl pellet and make a cool owl craft. 
       
    • Diggin’ Dinosaurs, age 4 – 8 (Year-round)
      Dinosaurs were some of the largest land animals to ever live, ruling the earth for 150 million years!  About 65 million years ago they disappeared and left nothing but fossils behind. Investigate how a paleontologist finds evidence of dinosaurs, which dinosaurs were the biggest and which were the smallest, what dinosaurs ate, and if they took care of their babies.
       
    • Flowers, Butterflies and Bees, ages 4 - 12 (May- Sept)
      Enter the colorful and sweet smelling world of flowers and their friends, the butterflies and bees! Insects are necessary for pollination of most flowers; without their pollination services our world would be less colorful and delicious (think fruits and vegetables)! Search for native flowers and their insect partners, play pollination games and create a flowery craft.
       
    • Insect Investigations, ages 4 - 12 (May – Sept)
      Some scientists estimate there are 200 million insects for each person on earth! Become an entomologist for the day as you search for insects under rocks, in the trees and flying though the air. Learn about insect body parts and their life cycles, play buggy games and make an insect craft.
       
    • Pond Explorations, ages 7 – 12 (May – Sept)
      Get ready to get wet! Collect animals and plants from the pond or creek using scientific tools like plankton nets, dip nets or seines. Observe the animals using a magnifying glass and check out the freshwater fish in our aquarium as they are being fed.
       
    • Something’s Fishy, 4 – 12 (Year-round)
      Freshwater fish come in amazing colors, shapes and sizes! Learn about the fish living in the DuPage River, play a fun fishing game, create a fish print, and watch the nature center fish being fed.

What to expect
Guests will work with clay at Studio One to create a festive take-home project to commemorate the occasion! You will also have time to enjoy a delicious dessert by DeEtta’s Bakery and any other food/drink you would like to provide

Enjoy a Royal Celebration while creating fun memories filled with games and giggles. Guests can dress as their favorite princesses and enjoy a tea party complete with a light snack, “tea” and a festive dessert! Don’t fret if you don’t have your own princess dress, we have a magical trunk of princess dresses and accessories to use during the party. Guests will be swept away with fun games, dress up, nails and a fabulous craft. The highlight of the party is the sit down tea party using real dishes while enjoying a light snack. The party attendants teach manners and how to pour a proper cup of tea while chatting about our favorite princesses. This royal adventure will have a happy ending that includes a delicious dessert by DeEtta’s Bakery. Cupcakes are included with the price of the party. Princess Package Upgrade: Have a Real Princess Come to Your Party!
Make your child's Princess Party even more magical! A princess will come dressed up to your party for up to 45 minutes to dance, take pictures with guests, have tea and do a special princess craft. Your little princess will never forget this enchanting birthday celebration. Princesses available are: Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Elsa, Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty).

Up, up and away to celebrate your special day! Bring your X-ray vision, super powers and Spidey senses to this party so you don’t miss any of the fun that includes games galore!  When the superhero’s arrive they will practice their physical skills with free play on our gym equipment. Once the hero’s have practiced, they will then do a theme-related craft of masks or headbands. The guests at this party will need all their super hero strength to make it through more teams games and run by the party attendants.  This super hero adventure will have a happy ending that includes a delicious dessert by DeEtta’s Bakery. Cupcakes are included with the price of the party. An upgrade option is available for a giant donut and giant chocolate cookie cake for an additional $10 (feeds 20 guests).

First-Time Registrants
Individuals wanting to register online for Naperville Park District programs must first establish an account with us. In order to be eligible for the resident fee, proof of residency within the Naperville Park District is required by submitting one of the following documents: driver's license, preprinted personal check or City of Naperville utility bill.

To register, fill out the online registration form. You also can submit your proof of residency by emailing it to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , by fax at 630-848-5001 or at Naperville Park District's Administration Building, the 95th Street Center or the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center.
