Donate the 2012 holiday tree for the Riverwalk

The Naperville Park District is seeking the donation of a large evergreen tree to be placed on the Riverwalk for the 2012 holiday season. The tree will be set in the Dandelion Fountain, near the corner of Jackson Avenue and Webster Street, and traditionally is in place by the third week in November.

Preferably, the donated tree will be a minimum of 15-feet tall, although previous trees have been around the 20-foot mark. A spruce or fir is preferred. Additionally, the tree to be donated needs to be located in the front yard so a truck can easily access it and haul it away.

Those who have a tree to be considered for donation should contact Chuck Papanos at 630-848-3590 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
