Naperville Park District Announces Results of Park Board Election

In the April 4, 2017 Consolidated Election, four commissioners were elected to serve four-year terms on the Naperville Park District Board of Park Commissioners: Bobby Carlsen, Bill Eagan, Mike King and Mike Reilly. Bill Eagan and Mike Reilly ran as incumbents while Bobby Carlsen and Mike King were first-time candidates.  The four candidates ran unopposed in the election.

The three commissioners who were not up for re-election this year are Rich Janor, Jim Ensign and Marie Todd. Their terms expire in 2019. Commissioners Gerry Heide and Kirsten Young chose not to run for re-election.

The recently elected Park Board commissioners will be sworn in at the May 11, 2017 meeting, which will be held in the City Council Chambers at the Naperville Municipal Center, located at 400 S. Eagle Street. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m.
