Celebrate Halloween at Free Events on the Riverwalk Oct. 28 and 29

                                Naperville Park District invites the community to enjoy free Halloween events.

                                City Carillonneur Tim Sleep and the Naperville Park District Élan Dance Company will perform at the Scare-illon. The Scare-illon is a free performance of Halloween-themed Carillon music and a series of fun, creative and seasonal dances. Park District staff will hand out glow sticks and candy to children for as long as supplies last. The Scare-illon takes place on Sat., Oct. 28 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.and is held at the base of the Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower along the Riverwalk, located at 443 Aurora Ave.  Attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets and to dress for the weather.

 Children ages 1-10 and their families are invited to attend Halloween Happening, presented by Woody Buick GMC. Other sponsors include Rocket Ice, Aurelio’s Pizza, KidSnips, Naperville Bank & Trust, Living Well Dental Group, Buffalo Wild Wings, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Dunkin’ Donuts, Pump it Up, 2Toots Train Whistle Grill, College Nannies+Sitters+Tutors, Shotokan Karate, Sunkist Smoothies, Naperville Yard, Chicago Tribune/Naperville Sun and Disney Pixar Cars 3.

Halloween Happening is a fun, traditional family event where everyone can dress up and explore the four themed areas where children can collect treats, play games and win prizes.

 Halloween Happening takes place on Sun., Oct. 29 from 1:00-4:00 the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, west of Centennial Beach, located at 500 W. Jackson Ave. New this year, Élan Dance Company will perform at 1:30 p.m.
