Brooks Golf Academy High School Golfers Head to State Golf Finals Oct. 13-14

Three high school golf players who train regularly at Springbrook Golf Course are heading to the Illinois High School Association state finals on October 13 and 14.

Scotty Boyajian, a junior at Metea Valley High School, and Nate Kirberg, a senior at Plainfield North High School, qualified as individuals and Jack Ryan, a senior at Naperville Central High School, qualified as part of the Naperville Central team.

“I’m extremely proud of these students who have worked hard not only on their school teams, but also consistently at Springbrook Golf Course in their golf lessons and fitness training at our Brooks Golf Academy Training Center,” said Golf Professional Todd Russell.

Both Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses hosted high school tournaments this fall including the sectionals held this week.  Naperville area high school golfers going to state include the Naperville Central High School boys’ team, the Naperville North High School girls’ team, and several individual girls, including Emma Lim from Naperville Central High School and  Arushi Singh and Kerrigan Boose  from Waubonsie Valley High School.

Todd Russell coaches Scotty Boyajian at Springbrook Golf Course.
