As many of you know we are in the process of major renovations to portions of the clubhouse, practice facilities and parking lot at Springbrook Golf Course. Once complete, the clubhouse will have expanded kitchen prep and storage areas, administrative office space and exterior access restrooms. The driving range tee top will nearly double in size and a short game practice area will be developed. The parking lot will expand in size and move further east to accommodate driving range expansion, more parking space and a bag drop. A retention pond will be added to the east of the hole #10 tee box for storm water management.
The expected completion date of May 23rd has been delayed till June 27th. The delays were due to the difficult weather we experience in January, February and March, and the additional cold/wet weather in April and early May. The new completion date is June 27th for the entire project. Here is a breakdown of finished and unfinished work:
SB parking lot – finished (paving, curbing and striping)
SB driving range tee – 80% complete (sod is to be installed 6/18)
SB paved cart paths/concrete walks – finished (completed 6/17)
SB cart ramp – finished (completed 5/1)
SB Clubhouse expansion – 90% complete (additional offices/storage area, two restrooms, walk up service window, additional kitchen prep/storage area)
SB patio area – finished (double the seating capacity)
NB cart ramp – finished (completed 5/1)
NB Clubhouse expansion – 80% complete (new storage areas in basement and main floor, new offices adjacent to the proshop)
NB new cart path – 80% complete (scheduled to be finished 6/19)
