If I’m not a Naperville resident can I still register?
Yes! We offer nonresident rates that are slightly higher than the resident rates. Look for the “NR” code in our Program Guide or through our online registration system. We also offer an “SDR” rate for Naperville 203 and 204 School District Residents. For programs located at a school these districts, you would pay the lower SDR rate. In order to be eligible for these reduced rates, please contact the Park District at 630-848-5000 to update your account.

My child has special needs and requires additional assistance to participate in programs. What should I do?
Inclusion services are provided through Western DuPage Special Recreation Association in conjunction with Naperville Park District programs. Inclusions services are designed to provide the least restrictive environment while providing the maximum opportunity to participate in regular park district programs. There is no additional charge for WDSRA support. To register for services, please indicate on the program registration form or online that special accommodations are needed. If you are registering by phone, simply tell the Community Relations staff person that special accommodations are needed.
Does the Park District use volunteers?
Yes, the Naperville Park District has a very vibrant volunteer program. We use volunteers for a wide range of projects including general office tasks and park projects to coaching sports and assisting with special events. For more information on how to volunteer, please click here.
Under the new Concealed Carry Law, can I carry a firearm into a park or park facility?
No. Illinois law prohibits bringing firearms into parks or government buildings and facilities. Weapons may be properly stored in vehicles in parking lots while you visit a park or Park District facility, but may not be brought into the park or facility itself.
How do I rent a park for a special event?
The Naperville Park District is home to 140 beautiful parks, many of which may be rented. We also have indoor facilities with rental space. Park rental applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis and submitted in person per a rolling calendar. For example, Rentals from Jan. 1-Mar. 31 may be reserved beginning Oct. 1 of the previous year for residents and Oct. 8 for nonresidents.
