Available Positions

Regular Employment

Regular employees are generally scheduled to work at least 1000 hours per year and a minimum of 20 hours per week at least 50 weeks per calendar year. Regular employees are eligible for insurance and time-off benefits.


Short Term Employment

Short-term employees generally work less than 3 quarters out of the year, and are ineligible to receive employee insurance benefits other than those mandated by the state or federal law regardless of hours worked.

Internship Opportunities

The Naperville Park District is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated college students working toward a degree in Recreation, Park Planning & Landscape Design, Marketing & Sponsorships, and Forestry.

Internships are offered during the summer. Our 12-week program consists of a 40-hour work week, with an hourly rate based on qualifications. Summer dates run May through August. If interested in an internship opportunity, submit a resume and cover letter to jherrmann@napervilleparks.org.
