Gerry Heide
Gerry Heide, a Naperville resident since 1971, was appointed initially to the Park Board in August 2008 to fill the vacancy left by retiring Commissioner Charlie Brown. Then, in April 2009, he was elected to serve a four-year term. Gerry was re-elected in 2013 to another four-year term.
As a longtime community member, Gerry has volunteered his service to the Last Fling, Ribfest, the MS Society, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Special Olympics and has served as a Lisle Township Precinct Committeeman. He currently is self-employed and busy managing three companies: BH Equipment Consultants, Spray-Tech, Inc., and Miller/MacFarlane Builders.
Gerry strives to use his community experience and business background to continue to ensure the tradition of Park District excellence for the benefit of future generations. He strongly believes that the Park District is an absolutely integral component of the community.
Gerry is a proud parent and devoted husband.
