Bill Eagan, a Naperville resident since 2002, was elected to the Board of Commissioners in April 2011 to serve a 2-year term. A Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant, Bill currently is employed at Kraft Foods and has worked in the field of accounting and finance for 15 years. Bill and his wife, Kelly, chose Naperville as the place where they wanted to raise their family because of its safe neighborhoods and family-oriented environment, with a variety of things to do even in one’s own back yard.
Bill brings to the Park Board his financial skills and experience, his perspective as an avid runner, and his desire to serve the community that he believes provides so much to his family.
Bill’s other community involvement includes participation in Naperville Sunrise Rotary (Treasurer), Naperville Jaycees, Heritage Knolls HOA, the Illinois CPA Society’s Award Selection Committee, Center for Economic Progress, and Little Friends Step Up for Autism Walk Committee. He was instrumental in gathering petitions for Term Limits and Districts, which he believes will increase voters’ ability to let their voices be heard on issues at the ballot box.
In Bill’s view, the Park District benefits our city by sparking the interests of all ages, developing teamwork and competitive skills, and providing opportunities for people to get in touch with the community.
